The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

I started my journal from scratch. I can't explain why - I just felt that it needed to be done.

It has been a GREAT weekend so far! A nice mix of laziness and productivity. And I honestly LOVE that Daylight Savings Time is in effect. I wound up waking up an hour "earlier" than I normally would for a Sunday, and my husband and I were out the door by 9am to go to Panera and get some work done. He continued doing research for his novel, and I studied for my new job and also edited a couple of chapters for one of my clients' novels.

We got home around 12:30pm and had lunch, then I holed up in my office to do another round of edits; we both took turns taking care of the laundry. I also updated my bullet journal with weekly layouts for the first two weeks of November, then played around in my coven for a bit.

I am SO thrilled to be back in the Coven of Royal Blood! I owe so much to sippa because he had to shell out a crap ton of favor to get me traded back - but he knows I'll make the exchange worth it.

As the evening rolled around, I did a little bit of reading in "A Discovery of Witches" by Deborah Harkness, edited some more, then ate dinner w/Todd. We watched "Law and Order: SVU" for a bit...and just a few moments ago I finished up - you guessed it - another round of edits. :-p

This weekend also kicked off National Novel Writing Month, aka NaNoWriMo. On Friday, 11/1, I wrote 1,718 words, and I wrote 1,842 words last night for a total of 3,510 words for my novel's rewrite in the first 48 hours of November. I'm pushing off adding to my word count until around 9:30-9:45pm so I can get my writing done right before I go to bed. That seems to be working out well for me so far.
